This show is my comeback and biggest surprise show of the year. I had given Star Trek up for dead but apparently not. Yes last year was awesome and great but it was a tried and true trick for the Star Trek series. When in doubt start a war. They always do wars well. It's the after the war is over that they go back to screwing things up. Yet shocker of shockers they didn't at least don't seem to be screwing it up. Having Archer come back bitter and jaded after all he has been through hit the nail on the head of how someone as starry eyed as he was is when they come face up to reality. I also like the developing relationship with the other captain of the next big warp 5 starship. The only cavet here is that I have no problem with her healing him and his wounds but he can not go back to being what he was. If they do that then this show will be right back where it started. More surprising still was T'Pol and Trip's relationship which I surely thought would be horrible. Yet they did slow and danced around it with grace until the big bombshell comes when she is forced into marriage. Now he know's how he feels about her and the question becomes what now. If they can continue this kind of track and not get off on some T'Pol is horny and running around half naked thing Star Trek could be back from the dead and back to a green. I can't tell you how much that totally shocks me.
